JESUS' Acquaintance Stand Far Off Beholding
Luke 23. 49.
And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee,
stood afar off, beholding these things.
Women Minister to JESUS
Matthew
27.55. [1]
And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed JESUS from Galilee,
ministering unto him:
56. Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the
mother of James and Joses, and (Salome),[2])the
mother of Zebedee's children.
Mark 15.40.
There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene,
and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
41. (Who also, when he was in Galilee,
followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with
him unto Jerusalem.
JESUS' Bones Not Broken
AΩ
Psalm 34.20.He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
John 19. 31.
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies
should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (for that Sabbath day was
an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they
might be taken away.
32. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs
of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.
AΩ 33.
But when they came to JESUS, and saw that He
was dead already, they brake not his legs:
AΩ
Psalm 22.16. They pierced my hands and my feet.
Revelation 1. 7.
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they
also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of
him. Even so, Amen.
John
19.34. But one of the soldiers with a
spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water[3].
35. And he that saw it bare record, and his
record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
AΩ 36.
For these things were done, that the Scripture should be fulfilled, A
bone of him shall not be broken.
AΩ
37. And again another Scripture saith,
They shall look on him whom they pierced.[4]

the Day before the Sabbath
Matthew
27.57-60, Mark 15.42-46, Luke 23. 50-54, John 19.31-37
Mark 15. 42.
And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is,
the day before the Sabbath,
Matthew 27. 57b
there came a rich man... named Joseph, who also himself
was JESUS' disciple: (but
secretly for fear of the Jews)[5]
Luke 23.50. Joseph, was an
(honorable) [6]counsellor;
and he was a good man, and a just:
51. (The
same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;)...He was of
Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 27.58.
He went to Pilate, and
( boldly)[7]
begged [8]the
body of JESUS.
Pilate
Wants Proof Christ Is Already Dead
Mark 15. 44.
And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the
centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45. And when he knew it of the centurion, he
gave the body to Joseph.[9]
46. And he
bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid
him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the
door of the sepulchre.
John 19.39.
And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by
night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
40. Then
took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes[10]
with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. ( And laid it in his own
new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock) [11]
41. Now in
the place where He was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new
sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
42. There
laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the
sepulchre was nigh at hand.
The Great Stone
Matthew 27.60b and he rolled a great stone to the
door of the sepulchre, and departed.
Matthew 27. 61.
And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against
the sepulchre.
Luke 23.54.
And that day was the preparation, and the Sabbath drew on.

Matthew
27.61-66, Luke 23.55, 56
Matthew 27.62.
Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief
priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
63. Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver
said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made
sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away,
and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be
worse than the first.
65. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go
your way, make it as sure as ye can.
66. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure,
sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall
come in.
8. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong
and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift
them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of
hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Matthew 28.1.[12] In
the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the
week, (very early) [13][14]came
Mary Magdalene[15] (and certain others) [16]
(while it was yet dark) [17]and
the other Mary (the mother of James and Salome, had brought sweet spices, that
they might come and anoint him)[18] (and)
to see the sepulchre.
Mark 16.3.

the door of the sepulchre? 4. And when
they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away[19]:
for it was very great.[20]
AΩ
Luke 24. 3. And they entered in, and
found not the body of the LORD JESUS.
AΩ 4.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two

their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the
dead?
AΩ
Mark 16.5. And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the

great earthquake: for the angel[21] of
the LORD descended from Heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the
door, and sat upon it.
Matthew 28.3.
His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4. And for fear of him the keepers did
shake, and became as dead men.
Matthew 23.5.
And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye[22]:
for I know that ye seek JESUS (of Nazareth)[23] ,
which was crucified.

for He is risen, as He said. [25]

Luke 24. 6b. Remember how He spake unto you when He was yet in Galilee,
AΩ
7. Saying, The SON of man must be
delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day

8. And they remembered his words,
Matthew 28.6b. Come, see the place where the LORD
lay.[26]
7. And go quickly, and tell his disciples (and
Peter)[27]
that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goeth before you into Galilee;
there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre
with fear and great joy ( for they trembled and were amazed:[28]
neither said they say any thing to any man; for they were afraid)[29]
and did run[30] to
bring his disciples word.
AΩ
9. And as they went to tell his
disciples, behold, JESUS met them, saying, All hail. And they came and
held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
AΩ
10. Then said JESUS unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren

Then she (Mary Magdalene)[31]
runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus
loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre,
and we know not where they have laid him.
Luke 24.10.
It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and
other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
11. And their words seemed to them as idle

Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4. So they ran both together: and the other
disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5. And he stooping down,[33]
and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying
yet went he not in.
6. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and
went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie 7. And the napkin, that was about his head, not
lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. , (and departed, wondering in himself at that
which was come to pass. ) [34];
8. Then went in also that other disciple, which
came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9. For as yet they knew not the Scripture, that

Jesus Appears to Mary
Magdalene
Mark 15. 9. Now when
Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary
Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven devils.
John 20.11.
...Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she
stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12. And seeth two angels in white sitting, the
one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of JESUS had lain.
13. And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest
thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not
where they have laid him.
14. And when she had thus said, she turned
herself back, and saw JESUS standing, and knew not that it was JESUS.
15. JESUS saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom
seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if
thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take
him away.
John 20. 16.
JESUS saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and
saith unto him, Rabboni[35];
which is to say, MASTER[36].
AΩ 17.
JESUS saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not

12. And when they were assembled with the

13. Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night,
and stole him away while we slept.
14. And if this come to the governor's ears, we

15. So they took the money, and did as they were
taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

15. And it came to pass, that, while they
communed together and reasoned, JESUS himself drew near, and went with them.
Luke 24. 16. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17. And He said unto them, What manner of
communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18. And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas,
answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem,
and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19. And He said unto them, What things? And they
said unto him, Concerning JESUS of Nazareth,
which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before GOD and all the people:
20. And how the chief priests and our rulers
delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21. But we trusted that it had been he which

Ought not CHRIST to have suffered these things, and to enter into his

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them

38. And He said unto them, Why are ye troubled?
and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
AΩ
39. Behold my hands and my feet,[40]
that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones,
as ye see me have.
40. And when He had thus spoken, He shewed them
his hands and his feet.[41]
41. And while they yet believed not for joy, and

24. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called

AD, during the 40 days before the Ascension
John
21.1-25
John 21. 1.
After these things JESUS shewed himself again to the disciples at the
sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed He himself.
2. There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas
called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee,
and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing.
They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a
ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4. But when the morning was now come, JESUS stood on the shore: but the disciples knew
not that it was JESUS.
5. Then JESUS saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat?
They answered him, No.
AΩ 6.
And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and
ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for
the multitude of fishes.
7. Therefore that disciple whom JESUS loved saith unto Peter, It is the LORD. Now
when Simon Peter heard that it was the LORD, he girt his fisher's coat unto
him, (for he was naked[42],)
and did cast himself into the sea.
8. And the other disciples came in a little
ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,)
dragging the net with fishes.
AΩ
9. As soon then as they were come to
land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
10. JESUS saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye
have now caught.
11. Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to
land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there
were so many, yet was not the net broken.
AΩ John 21. 12. JESUS saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of
the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the LORD.
13. JESUS then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth
them, and fish likewise.
AΩ
14. This is now the third time that
JESUS shewed himself to his disciples, after that
He was risen from the dead.
The
Great Commission in the Book of John
(Cont.)
John 21.15.
So when they had dined, JESUS saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas,
lovest[43]
thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, LORD; thou knowest that I love[44]
thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs[45].
16. He saith to him again the second
time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest [46]thou
me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love[47]
thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.[48]
17. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son
of Jonas, lovest[49] thou me?
Peter was grieved because He said unto him the third time, Lovest[50]
thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that
I love[51]
thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

19. This spake He, signifying by what death he
should glorify God.[52]
And when He had spoken this, He saith unto him, Follow me.
John's Tarrying Predicted
John 21.20.
Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom JESUS loved following; which also leaned on his
breast at supper, and said, LORD, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21. Peter seeing him saith to JESUS, LORD, and what
shall this man do?
AΩ 22.
JESUS saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till
I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23. Then went this saying abroad among the
brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet JESUS said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If
I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

Acts 1. 1.
The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that JESUS began both to do and teach,
2. Until the day in which He was taken up,
after that He through the HOLY GHOST had given commandments unto the apostles
whom He had chosen:
3. To whom also He shewed himself alive after
his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and
speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God:4.
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should
not depart from Jerusalem,
but wait for the promise of the FATHER, which, saith He, ye have heard of me.
5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye
shall be baptized with the HOLY GHOST not many days hence.
6. When they therefore were come together, they
asked of him, saying, LORD, wilt thou at this time restore again the Kingdom to Israel?
7. And He said unto them, It is not for you to
know the times or the seasons, which the FATHER hath put in his own power.
Acts1. 8.
But ye shall receive power, after that the HOLY GHOST is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9. And when He had spoken these things, while
they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10. And while they looked stedfastly toward
Heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11. Which also said, Ye men of Galilee,
why stand ye gazing up into Heaven? this same JESUS,
which is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have
seen him go into Heaven.
Even so, come LORD JESUS!
What
will ye do with this JESUS which is called the CHRIST?
AΩ
Acts 13. 38. Be it known unto you
therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the
forgiveness of sins: 39. And by him all that believe are justified
from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

John 5. 11. And this is the record,
that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his SON.
12. He that hath the SON hath life; and he that
hath not the SON of GOD hath not life.
13. These things have I written unto you that
believe on the name of the SON of GOD; that ye may know
that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the SON of
GOD.
14. And this is the confidence that we have in
him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, He heareth us: 15. And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever
we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Please make sure you are
saved today
Here is how to be saved according to the Holy Bible.
God has
Good News for you!
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have
everlasting life!
The gift of God is eternal life.
If you
accepted that gift, how long would you have it? ETERNALLY.
Where do you receive this gift? Through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins! His
blood covered them!
He was the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the
world never to remember them anymore.
Then, He arose to give us His righteousness. Romans
4..25 Christ was raised again for our justification. (That means
"just-as-if-I-had-never-sinned).
He rose again to give us a new past
(forgiven) a new life (victorious), and Eternity in Heaven.
How do you receive
the gift of Eternal Life?
Romans 10:13.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Please call on the Lord right now! From your heart
pray,
Jesus, I
am a sinner.
Please,
save my soul from Hell, and my life from being wasted by
sin.
Thank
you for dying on the cross for all my sin.
Forgive
me, and cleanse me of all my sins, past, present, and future.
Thank you
for overcoming death so you can give me Eternal life.
Empty me
every day of self, and fill me everyday with Thy righteousness.
Thank you
for saving me today and empowering me to live victoriously by faith. I turn
from my besetting sins and totally trust in Thee, my Deliverer, my God,
and my Saviour.
In
Jesus' Name believing,
Amen. I
will confess to the world
I am
SAVED, a born-again Christian by God's GRACE.

do not baptize lost people. Baptism is for a clear conscience. It does not wash
