Why God allows problems in our life
When we fail how do we recover?
Our salvation depends upon WHO JESUS is.
Our salvation depends upon what Jesus did
Our Eternity depends upon what Jesus is going to do in the
future
The Christian Soldier in War Time
Compassionate Romans 12.
15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice,
and weep with them that weep.
Esteems the other to be better than themself. Philippians 2.
3. Let nothing be done through strife
or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than
themselves.
Colossians 2. 2. That
their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love,
Forgives and forgets. Colossians 3. 13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one
another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so
also do ye.
Gentle and kind 1 Thessalonians 2. 7. But we were gentle among you, even as a
nurse cherisheth her children:
Hearts of gratitude . 1 Thessalonians 5. 18. In everything give thanks: for this is the
will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Serve God acceptably. Hebrews 12. 28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which
cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear:
Hospitable. Hebrews 13. 2. Be
not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels
unawares.
Do not prejudge others. James 2. 1. My brethren, have not
the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
Is Holy. 14. As obedient
children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your
ignorance: 15. But as he which hath called you is holy, so
be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am
holy. 17. And if ye call on the Father,
who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the
time of your sojourning here in fear:
Love others. 1 Peter 1. 22.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit
unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure
heart fervently:
Patient. 1 Peter 2. 20.
For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall
take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it
patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21. For even hereunto were ye
called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye
should follow his steps:
1 Peter 4. 12. Beloved,
think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though
some strange thing happened unto you:
13. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye
are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed,
ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit
of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but
on your part he is glorified. 15. But
let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a
busybody in other men's matters.
16. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let
him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
Fellowship in the Lord.
1 John 1.7. But if we walk in
the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the
blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1 Corinthians 13
1. Though I speak with the tongues of men and
of angels, and have not charity (agape unconditional love) , I am become as
sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and
understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so
that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the
poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it
profiteth me nothing.
4. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity
envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5. Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not
her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in
the truth;
7. Beareth all things, believeth all things,
hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8. Charity never faileth: but whether there be
prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease;
whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in
part.
10. But when that which is perfect is come, then
that which is in part shall be done away.
11. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put
away childish things.
12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but
then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am
known.
13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these
three; but the greatest of these is charity.
1 Corinthians 6. 18. Flee
fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that
committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19. What? know ye not that your body is the
temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not
your own?
20. For ye are bought with a price: therefore
glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 7. 4. The
wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the
husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
5. Defraud ye not one the other, except it be
with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and
come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
James 1. 27. Pure religion
and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and
widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
