Matthew 6. 33. But seek ye

Getting a job-

Exodus 23. 20. Behold, I
send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the
place which I have prepared. -Trust God to lead and bless.
Joshua 1.11 Within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan.
Joshua 10. 12. Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon,
in the valley of Ajalon. 13. And the sun stood still, and the moon
stayed. God answers prayer.
1 Kings 18. 41. for there is a sound of abundance of rain. 42.
So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of
Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his
knees. Elijah knew who gave rain and who withheld it, as well as every
blessing. Pray believing today for something so far you have never had the answer.
Believe it. And wait for the manifestation of it.
Psalm 37.23. The steps of a good man are
ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Psalm 102.17. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not
despise their prayer.
Philippians 4. 19. But my
God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus.
Hebrews 4. 16. Let us
therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and
find grace to help in time of need.
Get a job that pleases God
Exodus 32. 26. Then Moses
stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the Lord's side? let him
come unto me.
Exodus 35. 21. And they
came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his Spirit made
willing.
Do not work on Sunday unless you are serving the Lord as a pastor,
EMT, policeman, soldier etc.2 Chronicles 36. 21. To fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth
of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay
desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years. God gets His

Trust God to bless you at work
Genesis 31.7. And your
father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him
not to hurt me. -God takes care of us even if our employer does not.
Genesis 31.12. for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee. -God
watches how we are treated.
Genesis 33. 24. And Jacob
was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the
day. - Do not give up on God's promises- keep praying.
Genesis 39. 23. The keeper
of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the Lord
was with him, and that which he did, the Lord made it to prosper. -God will bless you at work if you trust
and obey Him.
Exodus 2. 24. And God
heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac,
and with Jacob. God sees your tears and remembers every hurt.
Exodus 3. 7. And the Lord
said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and
have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their
sorrows;
1 Kings 20.11. And the
king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his
harness boast himself as he that putteth it off. Don't brag about it. Do it.
Eliminate one of your pretentious boasts today. Do it.

Exodus 36. 1. Then wrought

and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the
sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.

Keeping a job
Joshua 1.8. This book of
the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day
and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
Pray for wisdom- 1 Kings 3. 9. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy
people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this
thy so great a people?
2 Kings 5.13. My father, if the prophet
had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much
rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean. -God's answers may
seem simple but they work.

Causes of trouble at work
Rebellion: 1 Samuel 15.23.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as
iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he
hath also rejected thee from being king.- or being anything.
Disobedience to or rejection of God's
Word will cause you trouble everywhere, including work.
1 Kings 11. 14. And the
Lord stirred up an adversary unto Solomon. Our sin causes us trouble at
work!
2 Chronicles 15.2. the Lord is with you, while ye be with Him; and
if ye seek Him, He will be found of you; but if ye forsake Him, He will forsake
you. God's answer to the prayer may be no. Why?.
Psalm 118.8. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put
confidence in man. The middle verse in the Bible, a central crede in life.
Psalm 141.3. Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door
of my lips.
Proverbs 1. 25. But ye
have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh at your calamity; I

advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do,
but also to be forward a year ago.
11. Now therefore perform
the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a
performance also out of that which ye have.
12. For if there be first
a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not
according to that he hath not.
2 Corinthians 9.. 6. But
this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7. Every man according as
he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity:
for God loveth a cheerful giver.
